The Belconnen Weather Centre's Weather Station has decided to call it a day and prematurely retire. It has been deemed as UNFIXABLE as the model is no longer manufactured. This being the case the Belconnen Weather Centre should be purchasing a new weather station within the next 1 to 2 months (Davis Vantage Pro 2).

I still have been keeping records of the current rainfall and for August 2010 the Belconnen Weather Centre recorded a well needed 91.6mm, taking the yearly total to 506.9mm to 31 August 2010.

The data on this website such as forecasts and Radar images as still available and will work, the data such as temperature, wind, rainfall etc wont be displayed on the website until the weather station is replaced however I will post a weekly rainfall update on the homepage of this website.
